Our History
Tohono O’odham Nation Health Care (TONHC) was established July 1, 2016, when the Nation assumed responsibility for quality health services for tribal members under a Self-Governance Agreement. TONHC continues a long-standing commitment to improving the health and wellness of the Tohono O’odham people through modern medicine, community-based care, and culturally centered programs.
