Pharmacy

Tohono O'odham Nation Health Care Pharmacy Department is dedicated to protecting the health and safety of the Tohono O'odham Nation through patient centered pharmacy services directed toward optimal patient care outcomes, health promotion, and disease prevention. Pharmacists review prescription and medication orders to ensure safety and effectiveness, provide medications to patients in a timely manner, and provide patient counseling for any medication related questions or concerns. The pharmacy department is vital in ensuring timely access to medications and pharmacy services in an environment of quality, safety, and trust.

Our Emergency Room program at TONHC Sells emphasizes rapid assessment, decisive intervention, and compassionate communication to stabilize conditions and guide patients toward recovery. Environmental Health

The Tohono O’odham Nation Environmental Health Department (EHD) works to protect public health through inspections, training, code enforcement, and environmental health investigations. EHD conducts facility and homesite inspections, responds to environmental health concerns and food-borne illnesses, conducts rabies investigations and annual rabies vaccination clinics, and provides trainings including food handler safety, home sanitation, car-seat installation, lead prevention, injury prevention, and other environmental health-related topics. The program supports community health by ensuring safe food practices and sanitary conditions; requests, questions, or public health complaints may be emailed to TONHC_EHD@tonation-nsn.gov.
